Trust Your Gut

For several years I had a business partner, and like every good relationship, it required some compromise. As time went on, I found myself settling on matters that I firmly believed in, simply giving in to maintain the relationship. It began to bother me, and as time passed, I became resentful. I now recognize it was my fault for not trusting my instincts and holding true to my core beliefs. In retrospect, if we had focused our time on proving out our concepts and gave more attention to certain clients, I believe the business would have flourished.

Eventually, the partnership did come to a compromising end, so at least all the compromising finally came in handy!
