The Trade Group Launches 'Tricks of the Trade' Podcast to Share Event Marketing Tips and Insights
The bi-weekly podcast is hosted by Stephanie Chavez, Director of Marketing for The Trade Group, et al. The podcasts feature interviews with members of The Trade Group’s staff, the company’s clients and other trade show and live event industry experts.
DALLAS, Aug. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — The Trade Group, an award-winning, full-service, event marketing and creative design firm, is pleased to announce the recent launch of its new podcast, “Tricks of Trade.” The first episode aired June 26, 2019, and listeners can access past and upcoming – “Tricks of the Trade” podcasts on the OffBeat Business Media (OBBM) digital platform or the OBBM app, available on iTunes, Google Play, as well as on Roku and Amazon’s Fire TV. Live episodes air every other Thursday at 6 p.m. Central Time.
Stephanie Chavez, Director of Marketing at The Trade Group, came up with the idea to launch the podcast. “We’re always looking for new opportunities to share helpful information and educate people on how to have successful events. This was another great way to do that,” Chavez says.
Since the podcast launched in June, Chavez has tapped her colleagues at The Trade Group to share their vast expertise with listeners. Guests have included:

- Sr. Design Consultant Claire Phillips, who shared her insights for “Rent or Buy? What’s Right for Your Trade Show Event”

According to Chavez, “We have such a talented team, in all aspects of events and trade shows. The ‘Tricks of the Trade’ podcast allows us to share their wisdom and knowledge in all facets of the space, so we can help clients and other marketers plan and execute the most successful events possible.”
Next up, Chavez will interview Robert Lassiter, Traveling I&D Supervisor, who will share tips for a smooth install and dismantle on the show floor, and Costas Varkarotas, Creative Director, to share his wisdom on Experiential Design. Plans are also in the works to interview clients of The Trade Group, as well as other trade show, live event, and esports industry experts and innovators.
