Mary Schilling is a technical expert on color management of digital print devices with a special talent for giving designers tips on how to get printers to do tricks. With her background consulting with paper mill and, inkjet machinery suppliers on how to improve color and print quality across paper, plastics, metal, fabric and glass – she knows what is possible for a wide range of application types from books and brochures to fiber and flooring.
She received the Innovator of the Year award from the Flexographic Technical Association and from Xplor International for her efforts in closing the gap between inkjet printing for document, and digital corrugated packaging. She is continually experimenting with opportunities to improve design workflows and open up new opportunities for inkjet printing.
